Extract from the Public Agreement: Section 2. Product Delivery
2.1. Delivery of the ordered goods is carried out in accordance with the terms specified on the website in the “Delivery” and “Payment” sections.
2.2. Delivery of goods may be carried out directly by the Seller, by a courier or forwarding service, or independently by the Buyer from the Seller’s warehouse by self-pickup.
2.3. If the goods are delivered by the Seller, the Seller is responsible for the safety of the goods until they are handed over to the Buyer.
2.4. If the goods are delivered by a courier or forwarding service, the courier or forwarding service is responsible for the safety of the goods until they are handed over to the Buyer. The moment of shipment to the Buyer is considered to be the moment when the goods are handed over to the courier or forwarding service.
2.5. The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods to the Buyer within the timeframe agreed with the Buyer. The delivery address is specified by the Buyer when placing the order.
2.6. Ownership of the goods passes to the Buyer at the moment the goods are handed over to the courier or forwarding service, or when the Buyer collects the goods from the Seller’s warehouse.
2.7. If delivery is carried out directly by the Seller, the goods are handed over to the Buyer. If the Buyer is absent, the goods may be handed over to any person who presents a receipt or another document confirming the conclusion of the agreement or the delivery arrangement. From the moment of such transfer, ownership of the goods passes to the Buyer.
2.8. At the time of delivery, the Buyer receives documents confirming payment and transfer of the goods, as well as warranty documents, if such documents are provided for the specific product.
2.9. In case of each failed delivery caused by the Buyer, the Buyer additionally pays an amount equal to the delivery cost. Further delivery terms are determined by the Seller.
2.10. Fulfillment of the order by the Seller begins on the next day after payment for the goods by the Buyer and submission of documents confirming such payment.
2.11. Before delivering the goods to the Buyer, the employees of the online store https://mebwood.com, the courier and/or a third party delivering the ordered goods on behalf of the Seller have the right to request from the Buyer a document confirming payment for the goods or order.
2.12. Upon receiving the goods at the carrier’s warehouse, from the courier or from the Seller, the Buyer must check the external integrity of the packaging, then open it and directly verify the proper external condition of the goods, the absence of mechanical damage and the completeness of the order.
2.13. If at least one defect is found, the Buyer must record it in a written report in free form. The report must be signed by the Buyer and a representative of the carrier or the Seller. The defects must be documented by photo or video. Within one business day, the Buyer must notify the manager or the Seller’s representative responsible for processing the order and describe the detected defects in detail.
2.14. The natural wood grain pattern, color contrasts and visual differences related to the physical characteristics of the wood species are not considered product defects.
2.15. The parties agree that if the mandatory requirements specified in clauses 3.11–3.12 of this Agreement are not followed, the goods are considered to have been received by the Buyer in proper condition, without mechanical damage and in complete set.
