We have been manufacturing furniture since 1992. Tables, chairs, armchairs — that is our core specialisation, and for over 30 years we have been refining every detail. So when we decided to produce beds, we approached the task with the same level of demand for materials and construction.
The solid oak bed 1600x2000 mm is our first product in this category. We present it in detail.
Why Solid Oak Is the Right Material for a Bed
Reason one: safety. You spend more than 8 hours a day in direct contact with the bed material. A bed made from particleboard or MDF releases formaldehyde vapours throughout that time. Solid oak is neutral and even beneficial: the phytoncides in the wood have antibacterial properties.
Reason two: durability. Solid oak with traditional joinery will withstand daily loads without wobbling, creaking or deformation for 50+ years.
Reason three: aesthetics and feel. There is something deeply right about sleeping on a bed made of living, natural wood. Warmth, naturalness, stability — sensations that are hard to describe but easy to feel.
Construction: What's Inside
The bed frame is made entirely from solid oak. Structural elements — headboard, side rails, lower cross-members — contain no sheet material in any load-bearing joints.
Headboard: vertical elements in solid oak assembled into an expressive geometric composition. Height: sufficient for comfortable reading support.
Shape: contemporary, without excessive ornamentation. Joinery: traditional mortise-and-tenon with adhesive. The adhesive is water-resistant and formaldehyde-free. All structural joints are machined to a tolerance of 0.1 mm.
Slats: a network of cross-slats in resilient wood for even mattress support.

Sleeping area: 1600 × 2000 mm.
Height from floor to the upper edge of the slats (under mattress): 34–36 cm.
Overall bed height with mattress (20 cm mattress): 54–56 cm.
Under-bed clearance: 28–30 cm — sufficient for under-bed storage boxes.
Finish
Natural oil — the recommended option for a bedroom. The surface "breathes", is safe for direct skin contact, and the scent of natural oak remains alive.
Matt lacquer — more resistant to mechanical wear and moisture.
Style and Compatibility
Modern minimalism — clean lines, no superfluous decoration. Pairs with white or beige walls and neutral textiles.
Scandinavian style — natural wood, calm tones. A perfect partnership with linen bedding.
Wabi-sabi — visible knots, natural wood grain, organic forms.
Modern classic — a restrained accent in a classic interior with mouldings.
